Monday 2nd October – walk *** – Levington Creek including lunch – Foggy then some sun with cloud and rain later.

Foggy start here in Felixstowe so drove down to the Ferry to take some pics, was lucky enough to get one on ITV’s About Anglia, got to love Chris Page and another was chosen as BBC’s Editers Pick but sadly did not make it on the tv and was also on the cover of a couple of local magazines, so it has been a good start to the month already! It was really lovely walking around the boatyard at the Ferry with the tide low and the fog swirling around the moored boats. Then home for breakfast before heading to Lidl for a big shop as someone has a big Birthday later in the week and we needed to stock up! Then with the sun making an appearance I managed my exercises in the garden, then as Mag had a dentists appointment at 2 I packed lunch and we headed over to Levington Church and sat on our bench with views down to the Orwell, the cloud was rolling back and you could hardly see Felixstowe docks! The deer were in the field below and workers were repairing the woodern walk across the marshes meaning that section of path was closed. So after lunch we walked down along Levington creek to the River Orwell and the tide was very high! Returning to the back lane, up the hill, past the pub and church to our van and got a few spots of rain! Home for a welcomne cuppa and cake, tomorrow is looking very promising for a windsurf foil at Levington Marina:)
